Turning books into movies are usually somewhat controversial. They're complicated to make and get off the ground. The authors are either more than happy to sell off their intellectual property for 25 cents on the dollar, or they're a pain to work with.
With IT Chapter Two coming out, it feels like its important to talk about how these two movies line up with and play off of the book itself. The book is an 1100 plus page monstrosity of a read, but totally worth it.
In this short drive time podcast, I talked about whether or not the movies lived up to the book. Specifically focusing on Chapter 2, which came out this week. I also may have ranted about 10PM movies and motorcycles.
